From 6 October 2026, Perth pet owners will be able to access emergency veterinary care through two Animal Emergency Service hospitals: AES Osborne Park and AES Cannington.
Perth Vet Emergency will begin operating under the Animal Emergency Service name, bringing its trusted local teams into a national network of emergency veterinary hospitals. The transition will also include the opening of AES Osborne Park, a new purpose-built emergency and critical care hospital providing 24-hour emergency veterinary care, seven days a week.
Strengthening Emergency Care Across Perth
AES Osborne Park and AES Cannington will give Perth pet owners two locations for emergency and critical care. Together, the hospitals will provide greater access to experienced veterinary teams when pets need urgent treatment.
For many years, Perth Vet Emergency has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality emergency veterinary care and supporting both pet owners and referring veterinarians throughout Western Australia.
The transition to Animal Emergency Service brings these hospitals under a shared national identity while maintaining the local expertise, dedicated teams and commitment to patient care that Perth clients have come to know and trust.
A National Network with Local Expertise
Animal Emergency Service supports pets and veterinary teams through a national network of emergency veterinary hospitals across multiple states. Bringing the Perth hospitals under the AES name reflects the connected network that has existed behind the scenes for many years while making it easier for pet owners to recognise and access trusted emergency care.
While the name is changing, the people and values behind the hospitals remain the same. The experienced Perth Vet Emergency teams will continue providing compassionate, expert emergency care under the Animal Emergency Service name.
