Some of the benefits of working at AES include:
The Animal Emergency Service (AES) team is dynamic, outcome-oriented, empathetic and caring team. We work together as a team to do our best to deliver gold standards in veterinary treatment and client care.
To achieve our goals, we recruit the best talent on the market with a special focus on recruiting enthusiastic and high achieving emergency vets and nurses. For experienced Veterinary and Nursing positions, applicants are required to have at least two years’ experience in either an emergency environment or general practice workplace. However, at AES we provide a comprehensive and individually tailored training program, so you don’t need to be an emergency expert before applying at AES to thrive in our team.
Veterinarians wishing to commence with AES can apply for either our Student Placements, Internship roles, Veterinary or Senior Veterinary roles. Under the guidance of a mentor, and through our development programs, within 3 years our Veterinarians should have acquired the necessary skill set—and more— to be a competent emergency veterinarian who can practice wherever they want and start to specialise if they so desire.
AES is a fun and supportive workplace that encourages a culture of best practice, openness, team support and learning. Our remuneration is competitive, and based upon experience and qualifications. AES has a variety of career progression opportunities (from intern and student placements, through to trainers, mentors, Management, Executive and Director level), with higher level annual income possible.
