After first calling our local vet who told us at 10.30 am that they wouldn’t see our dog as they shut a 2pm and were too busy, but told me that it sounded like my dog was dying of heart failure, we called Animal Emergency Service at Carrara, our first point of contact was Robyn, very calm reassuring and urged us to bring in Molly immediately. When we arrived we were given a room and had nurses continuously came in to check our dogs condition whilst waiting for a vet. Courtney our vet was great in explaining Molly’s diagnosis, upfront with the costs and she was in surgery that night. We were kept updated and called after her surgery, and have been called every second day for the past week to check on Molly’s recovery. Can’t thank each and everyone of you enough for your amazing and compassionate service and the long and exhausting hours you put in .

As soon as you walk in the door they look after you and get you in as soon as a doctor is available. Unfortunately I have had to use them twice now at night time, and both times the receptionist has made sure I am alright as I arrive a mess! The after hours vets on the Gold Coast really explain everything, are very professional and give you regular updates, no matter what the time is. It seems like my dog gets a lot of love and attention when she stays there too. Highly recommend them, and so do many of my friends!

Thank you so much for your kind. compassionate and caring service at 2am!! Bought my little boy Dobby in for treatment and was greeted with professional service, helpful advice and tissues (those were for me!!) The vet was able to help me straight away and diagnosed what was wrong with my boy straight away. She was then able to give me advice as to how to proceed next. I was even offered a cup of tea by the lady at reception as she could see how emotional I was. Thank you so much Animal Emergency Service – Carrara.
