Dr Brumby became a veterinarian due to a love of animals and desire to help them. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 and commenced employment at the Animal Welfare League (Coombabah) until her employment with Animal Emergency Service.
Lisa thoroughly enjoys assisting owners with their pet’s illnesses and injuries. “Communicating with clients is of paramount importance as I feel it is important they are comfortable with the knowledge their family member is in the best hands.” Other bonuses Lisa finds working at AES include the variety of cases that present, as well as the opportunity to work with high level diagnostic equipment.
Lisa enjoys bushwalking, kayaking, socialising and keeping herself busy with her young family and home renovations. Her pets include a cat name ‘Baci’, and Pomeranians ‘Willow’ and ‘Hershey’.
