Kellie Doyle

Senior Veterinarian

Kellie Doyle is a Senior Veterinarian at Animal Emergency Service Underwood hospital. Kellie knew being a vet was her calling from a young age. Growing up on a small farm she used to ‘try’ to care for any animals who were sick. However, it was going through the heatache of losing her belowed childhood dog from a preventable disease when she was 11 that cermented her comittment to veterinary science. ‘I decided I needed to get educated on these things so that other poeple didn’t have to experience that heartbreak unnecessarily,’ Kellie says.

For Kellie there is not one case that is more memorable than another, but there is one case that does stick out. One night she saw a chicken that had a run in with a dog which required sugery. Will a serious case, it was thrilling as it was a kind of surgery that you don’t get to do every day.

Kellie says connecting with her patient’s families and being part of their journey makes her job satisfaction so much richer.
