Once Rod Meehan graduated from university in 1991 he worked in the United Kingdom for two years. He then partnered in a multi-practice veterinary group on the Gold Coast for 12 years. This was followed with a sabbatical to Japan for 12 months and upon returning, Dr Meehan took a position with Gold Coast Vet Surgery. He then became the Veterinary Director for Animal Emergency Service, Carrara. Now, Dr Meehan is our Chief of Hospitals at Animal Emergency Australia.

“I am extremely focused on providing a very high standard of small animal surgery. It is important to me to keep my techniques current and confer with colleagues to ensure the animals I treat are receiving correct care.”
