After hours vet helping pets on the Sunshine Coast

Since opening in 2014, hundreds of pet owners in the local community have trusted our Tanawha vet and nurse team with their pets.

If you’re ever feeling anxious or worried about your pet’s health, come on down and see us.

When your pet is discharged from the hospital, we will pass on your pet’s medical history to your vet, so they can update your pet’s medical records and access any test results they need for your pet’s ongoing care.

What our emergency vet on the Sunshine Coast does

We are familiar with the lush thick forest and beautiful beach areas on the Sunshine Coast, having seen a variety of patient conditions such as:

Any time you are feeling worried about your pet it’s worth a visit to the vet to put your mind at ease

Our small animal specialist hospital team has a soft spot for wildlife, caring for sick and injured native animals and working with rehabilitation groups to release them back into the wild.

We love returning lost pets back home to their worried owners, and even recently reunited an owner with a cat that had been missing for over two years!

We are an active part of the vet community, regularly getting together with vet colleagues from surrounding practices to share knowledge about the region’s foremost emergencies – everything from red belly black snake bites to advances in tick paralysis patient care.

If you ever find yourself worried about your pet, call on us for help.

Animal Emergency Service Tanawha saved both of my little best friends after a freak poisoning accident. The staff addressed the situation with professionalism and also empathy for my emotional state. Cannot thank them enough.

Thank you so much to the Tanawha After Hours Emergency. I had to take my dog Gracie to your service when she got into some dark chocolate. The whole team was wonderful from start to finish and I’m so thankful you were open to help.
