Megan Ponder

Operations Manager
Cert IV in Vet Nursing

Megan was drawn to emergency medicine for the ability to learn new skills in a clinic where every consult is different, especially as she is studying veterinary nursing.

Her most thrilling case was a Labrador who had been hit by a car. The dog underwent surgery and recovered well. But for Megan, this case holds a place in her heart because it showed the love people have for animals. Megan later found out there were about 10 people on the street trying to help the dog and to find the owner, who was so grateful and thankful to live in a great community of people.

Megan loves camping and spending time with family and friends, as well as going for walks and hikes. She also loves taking her housemate’s dog to the dog park and on long walks.
